WHAT WE DO
RowDojo is an integration of Music and Movement.
The Movements: Rowing Boxing Skiing Jogging Qi Gong
Low Impact steady state exercise (LISS) is a type of aerobic workout that is gentle on the joints and provides a continuous level of exercise intensity. We use Concept2 rowing, cycling and ski machines to perform these movements in a smooth and fluid fashion. The monitors on these machines are useful because they measure our energy output and help us maintain a consistent rhythm and flow.
The Meditations: Box Breathing Qi Gong Body Scanning
We practice simple meditation techniques to help us get out of the head and into the body. The primary technique is called Body Scanning, where we place out attention on different parts of the body. This strengthens our mind body connection and brings us to the present moment. Other practices such as box breathing and Qi Gong produce the same effect.
The Music: ChillHop, Reggae, Cinematic
Music plays a large role in our classes because it sets the stroke rate and rhythm for our movements. We are not aiming for better split times but rather to stay on beat with the music we hear. As the beats change, the rhythm of our movements change. This makes the repetitive motion more fun and requires us to listen to the music more consciously. Consider it a very simple form of dance. Once we have mastered “timing and tempo,” we encourage clients to create their own playlists to use during the classes.
Love this class!
Love this class! Brian is super knowledgeable and really helps you channel your mind body connection. It’s low impact but will definitely get you sweating. The space is super clean and the greeting committee Rocky is ready for all the pets!

Brian is the real deal
Brian is the real deal. He listened and created an entire class to fit my specific needs- building on the traditional sweat foundation of a typical workout while introducing a new spiritual dimension that you can’t put a price on. His studio is a gift I feel so lucky to have found and want the world to experience as well! I am picky af and promise you will leave better than when you entered.

Brian is awesome!
Brian is awesome! Challenging class, but in the best way. Definitely will be back. I am out of shape and was nervous but Brian is great and accommodated to anything I wanted to do or was too tired to do, he had alternative options! Amazing!

I highly recommend!
I have been going to HealHop for almost a year now and I highly recommend! I have developed a real love for the meditative nature and physical challenge that rowing provides. Brian is a great teacher and is knowledgeable in many fitness areas. Each class can be much more than just rowing. My workout mix has included Qigong, ski and bike machines, and boxing. Always a heavy emphasis on stretching pre and post workout! Brian also tracks your progress so you can see how far you’ve come.

Brian brings a unique take on fitness that keeps you engaged
If six stars was an option, I would select that without hesitation. Been going to HealHop classes for the past couple of years and never once had a bad workout. Brian brings a unique take on fitness that keeps you engaged and always keeps it interesting. Each and every time I finish a class with Brian I feel focused, energized, and better than before.
